there’s a light in the road, it's a sign he's never known
he lies awake with a dream life inside him, still he'll never let her know
shine on tonight, lift me up tonight
no one here can take it, the best part and make it
realize a dream or just enough to see, still she'll never let it show
shine on tonight, lift me up tonight
you've got to love to live, you've got to love to lose, you've got to lose to love

but is it enough for one good life, to care enough, to care at all?
shine on tonight, lift me up tonight

it’s all the same, its just a game, were all the same...
get out, get out, get out...
…you've got to love to live, you've got to love to lose, you've got to lose to love, you've got to learn to love
